We urgently seek

DONATIONS, SPONSORSHIP or FUNDING.

We need your help. If we can raise $100,000 in pledges we can ask the Lane Cove Council to support the purchase of 35 Innes Rd bushland. Council in turn can then ask the Commonwealth and State Governments to match $1 for $1. With the land up for sale, we do not have much time!

If you or your company is able to assist in any way, no matter how big or how small, please contact the GRRC.

We only need 10 companies to donate $10,000 each... or 20 companies to donate $5,000 each.

We only need 100 people to donate $1,000 each... 200 people to donate $500 each... 500 people to donate $200 each.... 1,000 people to donate $100 each.... 10,000 people to donate $10 each.... or 20,000 people to donate $5 each.

Put this into perspective:

The initial input may be substantial, but a Greenwich Rainforest Reserve WILL LAST FOREVER! This must make it a favourable form of sponsorship for companies, given that most other forms of sponsorship need a continual input of funds.

The long term benefits of sponsoring a Greenwich Rainforest Reserve may well out live the life of the company, which means that over a period, say of 50 years, the financial cost is minimal.
 i.e. $150,000 divided by 50 years is only $3,000 p.a.!
Even $400,000 divided by 50 years is only $8,000 p.a.!
So $75,000 is nothing - $1,500 p.a.!
...& this doesn't even take inflation into consideration!
Consider inflation and its a very cheap investment!

If you are an individual and can donate $1,000 this only amounts to $20 a year, over 50 years!

Concern for the environment will grow during the next millennium. You or your company can be there at the forefront, by helping us now! We have had expressions of interest from several companies and individuals. You contribution, combined with other sponsors could make or break this Reserve.
